Family Empowerment

Family Empowerment

by Elizabeth Brown,  Public Relations and Partner Development

Something The Vallado Project aims to do is empower. By empowering the house parents at Casa Vallado, we can then empower the kids to create a better life for themselves and future generations.

Empowerment trickles down. It starts with one person learning a trade, skill, or lifestyle, and then passing it down to the following generations. The children of Casa Vallado are there for many reasons, but one being lack of empowerment due to their family situations.

Building on what we discussed last with with entrepreneurs, why not these children? Why can’t we start the system now of teaching the children how to create a better life for themselves? Imagine the impact we could not only have on the children there, and the house parents, but the ones that come after them.

We at The Vallado Project urge each of you to consider giving or praying for Casa Vallado as well as joining us on at trip.

Why not us? Why not now?

“But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.”

– Psalm 10:14

Give hope to a child in need. Come, join the project.
